The Event Community

On August 8th 2023, we celebrated our startup, The Event Community’s 3rd Birthday, and it was more than just a party! The event hit full capacity and brought together 120 guests from the event industry, creating an incredible gathering of event professionals who have journeyed with us. Most importantly, our 3rd Birthday vividly demonstrated the strength of our loyal community and the undeniable demand for a Modern Event Marketplace App like ours.

This celebration served as a powerful reminder of The Event Community’s influence. While we have only scratched the surface in Southern California’s event industry, this event showcased the real impact our platform has, breaking down barriers and facilitating meaningful connections. That night, we witnessed established industry leaders, newcomers, and innovators coming together to network, to share their passion for creating unforgettable events, and to rally behind The Event Community's startup goals and mission.

As the evening unfolded, the atmosphere buzzed with energy. Laughter filled the room, glasses clinked in celebration, and insightful conversations flowed freely. The camaraderie and networking highlighted the collaborative environment our platform has created.

To end the night, we took the opportunity to announce and showcase our startup's ambitious goals and unveiled mockups of the app we aspire to create. The overwhelming support and positive feedback from event professionals in attendance validated our product, ideas, and mission to create something that truly supports businesses in the event industry.

We're deeply grateful for the continued support of our amazing community and look forward to many more celebrations together. Of course, we couldn’t have done it all without our Vendor Dream Team of 29 businesses listed below that sponsored their services to make this event come to life. Jennifer, from Willow & Bloom Events, was our Event Planner who effortlessly coordinated the event from ideation to finish. She was inspired by After the Tone and uniquely themed our event after their vintage rotary phones and the saying, “Have You Heard?” Pure genius! Along with Jennifer, we also partnered with Jade, the Founder & Owner of Colab Space official, to host our event at her spacious and creative space used for coworking, events, and office space. Jennifer, Jade, and our entire Vendor Dream Team put together an event that made people say “WOW!” It may sound cheesy, but the word “wow” was the most common reaction that we had from our guests! Cheers to the memories we made that night, and to many more milestones to come as we begin our startup journey as an Event Marketplace App.
